The Casino at Lakemont Park has been a centerpiece of Altoona’s community for over a century. Originally built in 1889 as a pavilion overlooking the park’s lake, it quickly became a gathering place for dances, concerts, and community celebrations during the trolley-park era. Despite it's name The Casino was never a place of gambling but about moments worth celebrating.
